Can I turn off the flash picture when starting Excel?

Dear users,
does anyone know a way to turn off the “welcome” start-up flash picture of this toolbox upon starting Excel? I would like to turn it off but haven’t found the means to do so after exploring all preference options. Please kindly advise.

Click on “Preferences”, then “Miscellaneous”, then click on “Do not show the splash screen during startup.”
