Installing the latest version I received this error.

Note. After first failure I removed the add-in and tried to install again:

That’s hard to solve. For some reason it’s looking for a file from version 7.2.12, whereas it should be looking for version 7.2.13. Did you ever have an older version of the XL Toolbox installed? Did you notice anything strange during installation?

One approach might be to uninstall the XL Toolbox, when search your entire hard drive for files with ‘xltoolbox’ in their name. Remove any corresponding DLL files that you might find. Could be that there is a stray XL Toolbox DLL file on your system, although I would not know why.

I uninstalled it and reinstalled it removing all the DLL files. I did have an older version.

I will check for additional DLL files.

Did this issue ever get resolved?

i tried what you suggested and it didn’t work, i just uninstalled it until a later date when i have time to poke around and work it out.
