Need Help Recovering VBA Project: "Removed Part: /xl/vbaProject.bin part" Error

Hello everyone :wave:,

I am facing a problem with an Excel file where I received the error message: “Removed Part: /xl/vbaProject.bin part.” This has resulted in my entire VBA project being removed, which contains important macros I need to recover.

I have tried opening the file in different versions of Excel, but no luck. Unfortunately, I don’t have a recent backup. Has anyone dealt with this issue before, and is there a way to recover the lost VBA code?

Any help would be greatly appreciated… :blush:

Hi, unfortunately I’ve never seen this before, but did you attempt to re-install Excel as described here?
