Try to XL toolbox 7.2.12 in excell 2010 in win xp

Hi guys:

This is my first comment here, normally I’m using xl toolbox in office 2016 and win 10 but for some reasons I need to use it in win xp now and I have already installed office 2010 but when I tried to install the xl toolbox 7.2.12 show up a window with the next message:

Unable to execute file:
setx

CreateProcess failed; code 2.
The system cannot find the file specified.

I was thinking that maybe is a error for using a old version of Office or winxp.

Maybe with a older version of XL toolbox for office 2010 I can be available to installed it.

You know if there is a repository with old versions fo XL toolbox?

Dear Alain,

SETX is a command that is built into Windows and is used by the installer to enable error messages during the add-in startup. I’ve had situations where the add-in failed to start, and no error message was shown.

SETX is not available in WIndows XP. (And, as you surely know, XP has been officially unsupported for several years now and is a security risk.)

You can download legacy versions of the XL Toolbox at https://sourceforge.net/projects/xltoolbox/files
